Sophomore Brooke Crowell doesn’t mind a little rain in April. In fact, she actually likes it.
“On my rainy days, I like to read books and play video games. I also enjoy going outside,” Crowell said.
Crowell likes going outside when the weather isn’t at its best.
“I really enjoy sitting under my porch watching and listening to the rain,” Crowell said.
But when the weather turns severe and thunder is involved in the storm, Crowell’s interest in the rain drizzles away.
“If there is a thunderstorm, I get scared and stay inside,” Crowell said. “I’m very fearful of thunder. I just do not like loud noises.”
Enjoying the rain is easy without all the thunder and lightning, and Crowell said a lot of people actually enjoy the white noise of the rain.
“I love rain. It makes me feel very happy and relaxing, as long as it is not thundering,” Crowell said.
