Jessica Vargas: How long have you played baseball and how long have you been playing for Pattonville?
Luke Izold (11): I have been playing baseball since I was 3 years old. I have been playing baseball for Pattonville since my sophomore year.
JV: What position do you play?
LI: I am a pitcher and I also play 1st base.
JV: When baseball tryouts come along for Pattonville, what is the hardest thing you have to do in your opinion?
LI: I think the hardest thing we have to do for tryouts in my opinion is run 8 laps.
JV: What is the biggest memory you have from playing on Pattonville’s baseball team?
LI: My biggest memory from playing on Pattonville’s baseball team is when I hit a grand slam vs. Fort Zumwalt.
JV: What are your expectations for Pattonville’s baseball team for 2012?
LI: I am hoping we do a lot better than we did last year.
