Originally scheduled for February 20, Mr. PHS was canceled because it was ice cold. It was re-scheduled for Feb. 26, and the action on stage was red hot.
Mr. STUCO Canaan Kerr won the title of Mr. PHS after competing in the modeling, talent and interview portions of the male beauty pageant.
It was not an easy decision for judges Ms. Jacki Gittemeier, Ms. Beth Moritz, Mr. Ben Schamber and Ms. Susan Saputo because after the Top 5 were named, there was a tie for the crown. A final question was asked to decide between Kerr and Mr. Choir Kyle Baldwin.
In addition to the performances by all the contestants in the talent portion, the varsity cheerleaders and marching band featured twirler Sarah Hirschbeck also performed.
The event was organized by Pattonville’s National Honor Society.
