Eighth graders got their first taste of classes at the high school by attending Curriculum Night. It was a chance for students and their families to visit booths set up by every department offered at the high school to learn about the courses available to them.
The night began at 7 p.m. with a pep rally in the gymnasium with speakers and performances by the band, cheerleaders and drill team.
Current high schoolers were also invited.
Students that were interested in learning about AP or College Credit courses were encouraged to attend with their parents to find information about class offerings, expectations for students in advanced classes, the benefits of advanced classes and more.
At about 7:45, the more than 300 families that attended the event exited the gym and went to the cafeteria and Commons to visit the different booths. The journalism table featured a photo booth and the pictures taken can be viewed in the slideshow below.
