The Pattonville varsity softball team lost Thursday’s home conference game against Kirkwood by a score of 2-1.

After the Pirates scored 1 run in the bottom of the 3rd inning, the Pioneers responded with 2 runs in the top of the 4th which resulted in the only runs needed to take the victory.

They Pirates will try to bounce back with a game against Lindbergh High School on Sept. 26 at home with the first pitch at 4 p.m.
