The upcoming Dodgeball Tournament originally scheduled for this Friday, Nov. 17, has been postponed.

After Pattonville’s heroic triumph over Vianney in the Missouri football quarterfinals game, those in charge of the annual fall dodgeball tournament decided that it would be best for the participating teams if the tournament was postponed to a later date. This is because the state semifinal football game will be played at home on Saturday afternoon.

“Football players, band members, dancers, and some teachers have commitments to the football game and the decision to move the tournament was thought to be best for all those involved,” student council sponsor Ms. Heather Lopez-Johnston said.

Currently, the new date for the tournament is unknown. The date must not overlap with other activities scheduled such as upcoming basketball games or any other programs that will use the gyms.

Pattonville will host Fort Zumwalt North in the state semifinal game on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. Tickets are $7 for all fans over the age of 6. Gates will open at 11:45 am.

The winner of this game will play in the state championship game on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
