As the Class of 2018 prepares to leave the high school, the Class of 2022 looks forward to beginning their journey at Pattonville.

Current 8th grader Zoie Redfern from Pattonville Heights said that she isn’t that nervous to enter high school.

“I’m not really nervous because I already know people who will be there with me.”

Middle schoolers from Holman, Heights and Remington Traditional received an in-depth look at all the clubs and activities available to them as freshmen during a field trip on Feb. 1 to the high school.

After taking a tour around all of the tables, Redfern said Drill Team, track, and volleyball are just a few of the activities sparking her interest.

Besides the activities, Redfern looks forward to new classes, meeting new people and experiencing a new environment.

Her ambitions heading into high school are to continue getting high grades by studying more.

Redfern mentioned although she is very excited to begin her new journey through high school, she will always remember her time at Heights, including her 7th grade trip to the Saint Louis Zoo.
