Girls’ basketball beats Clayton 68-39 for their second straight win

Pattonville girls’ basketball (2-0) played a home game and defeated the Clayton Greyhounds (2-2), 68-39.

The Pirates got off to a quick start going on a 10-0 run right after the tip. Seniors Kendall Battle and Brooke Jenkins both provided 15 points in the victory. Not to forget senior Niya Danfort who also dropped a season-high 14 points.

The Pirates outscored the Greyhounds in every quarter including putting up 17 in the 4th quarter to finish off the win.

The Pirate girls remain undefeated after picking up their first win of the season in a contest against McCluer.

Individual stats for the Clayton Greyhounds have not been posted to STLhighschoolSPORTS.com yet.

The Pirate girls’ (2-0) will play the Parkway West Longhorns (0-4) at Parkway West on Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.
