How does a Wildcat become a Pirate? She transfers schools.
Junior Kailynn Kneibert has started her first year at Pattonville after spending her first two years of high school as a Wildcat at Westminster Christian Academy, a private school located in Town and Country.
She’s struggling a little with the big transition.
“Oh, man. I was scared out of my mind,” Kneibert said about her first day in the larger school.
Nonetheless, the new start went way better than she anticipated. She has come to love the freedom of not having to wear a uniform to school and enjoys the large, diverse number of students.
“I was used to a more sheltered environment at Westminster and I never really liked that.”
Kneibert said that Pattonville and Westminster are quite different, but both are good schools.
The only notable similarity is the attitude of the teachers.
“They all want success for me and all care about how I’m doing as a new student.”
