Students graduate from the PHS play school program

The Class of 2019 will be attending their own graduation next week, but on May 14, it was time to celebrate the students graduating from the high school play school program.

Eight “Future Pirates” were honored as graduates and eight other students were celebrated as first and second year graduates.

Ms. Twila Harris is the class teacher and has taught children for over 35 years and is retiring this year. She said she loves all of the kids very much and feels honored to have been able to teach them while watching them grow.

The play school graduation program consisted of the students doing a finger play and performing two songs. There was also a presentation of diplomas to the graduates.

There was a video shown created by Mr. Scott Robinson of photos taken of the play school students and the high school helpers from throughout the year.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to a reception of cupcakes and punch.
