Drills and practicing moves help players develop skills for their matches.

The boys wrestling team started this season strong with blowout wins against Orchard Farm and Webster Groves, and they have had some close losses against St. Charles, Fort Zumwalt East, and Rockwood Summit. Currently, their record is 2-3 in conference duals and tri meets.

“The team is very young outside of seniors Kayin Jones, Ronald Wilkerson, and Terrell Sanderson. Ronald and Kayin are four year wrestlers and Terrell is three,” said Coach Kim. The seniors are working hard to place in the top four in districts to make a state run in the coming weeks. “They worked hard every day fixing the mistakes they’ve made,” said Coach Mueller.

The boys are facing Hazelwood Central this Wednesday followed by a two day tournament at St. Charles High School this weekend. “The future is bright and with some hard work, we are optimistic about our future,” said Coach Kim.

Good Luck to the Boys’ Wrestling team in their match at Hazelwood Central at 5:00 pm this Wednesday.
