Tony’s Donuts Planning for Third Store
With Covid shutdowns dominating the news cycle, the businesses creating ways to stay afloat are often overlooked. Tony’s Donuts has managed to press ahead with plans to open another location in Maryland Heights the corner of Fee Fee Road and Dorsett Road.
Tony’s Donuts is a family business, with its first location in Maryland Heights opening in 1995. They then opened a second location in Hazelwood 16 years later. They not only sell freshly made doughnuts, but breakfast sandwiches, bagels, coffee, and smoothies, among other things.
Cameron Helmich, a worker at the Hazelwood location, explained that the new location is currently under construction. “We’re set to open up early next year.”
Tony’s Donuts has shifted to meet the needs of the public: they now have curbside pickup as an option. Their hours range from 5:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday, and 5:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Sundays.
With the pandemic, a minor menu change was necessary. “We did have to remove our brisket sandwich, but that’s about it.”
Helmich also pointed out that their Hazelwood location does have a drive-thru.
Their Maryland Heights location is open from 5:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday and 5:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M. on Sundays.
The Pattonville community has supported Tony’s first location for 25 years; the new location is possible because of their continued support.
Tony’s Donuts Maryland Heights location is located at 12218 McKelvey Rd, and their Hazelwood location is located at 6045 Howdershell Rd.
