In their September 16 meet against Hazelwood Central, the boys’ swim team set their sights on another win.

So far in the 2021 season, the boy’s swim and dive team’s record is 4-2.

According to Coach Braswell, the team is doing really and on track for a successful season. She said, “Our goals for this year is to be above .500 and place in the top three at conference, as well as qualify a relay for State.”
Captain Wyatt Martin said, “Our focus has been on relays, and I think that we should do well.”

Martin also has an individual goal. “I hold the 100 breaststroke record and am close to beating it. If possible I want to break the 200 freestyle; really, just as many school records as I can.”

“This season’s team is a bigger size than years past, so the talent is very widespread; everyone has their strong suits,” Coach Braswell said. “Our main rival is Fort Zumwalt North because they are the biggest threat to us and our placements. They are really good at what they do and are difficult to beat.”
