Max McFarland and Isabelle Usry were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during halftime at Friday nights Football Game on October 7.

Isabelle Usry and Max McFarland took the crown during Pattonville’s Homecoming Football Game against Seckman High School on Friday, Oct. 7.

Usry is involved in Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, National English Honor Society, Golf, and Swim and Dive.

McFarland is involved in Varsity Baseball and Soccer, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble, National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, and the Dave Weckl big band.

When McFarland heard the “nerve-racking” announcement, he was overwhelmed with emotions.

Usry thought the announcement was “surprising because I was never expecting it.” She was also fortunate and grateful because “I’m beyond blessed that my school saw a leader in me.”

With it being Usry’s and McFarland’s last year at Pattonville, Usry’s favorite part was “being able to plan out my outfits with other girls and have us match.”

Other seniors elected onto Homecoming Court included Ethan Massey, Isabella Stark, Joey Stewart, Megan Hughes, Ivan Bradley, Allison Basta, Nicholas Toler, Sydney Suvansri, Nick Drayton, and Paige Boyce.

Underclassmen included juniors Isaiah White, Kylie Surratt, Paul Palermo, and Lily Norman, sophomores Elijah Davis, Brooke Boyce, Adam Reddy, and Faith Cunningham, and freshmen Julio Torres, Ava Condon, Alex Toler, and Jenna Cochran.
