On Saturday, Feb. 23, Pattonville’s Student Council will be hosting the Polar Plunge, a fundraiser that supports the Special Olympics. Proceeds from this event benefit Special Olympics Missouri’s program of sports training and competitions for children and adults with disabilities.
Who: Anyone interested in supporting the Special Olympics and having a good time!
What: The Polar Bear Plunge
Where: Creve Coeur Lake
Why: To support the Special Olympics and have a fun afternoon!
Maysa Daoud, StuCo officer, said about the Polar Bear Plunge, “Everyone can participate in
this event and we basically just run into Creve Coeur Lake. It’s actually really fun and is one of the most exhilarating experiences I ever experienced.”
Erik Solorio, StuCo President, comments by saying, “It’s cold and smelly.”
