Spanish Club is a new club for Pattonville this year. Spanish Club meets during Contact Time every other Thursday in Mr. Shaw’s room, H104. Their first club meeting was Aug. 22. The club sponsor is Mr. Shaw, a foreign language teacher, at the high school. In an interview, Shaw answered questions about the Spanish Club.
Q. What is Spanish Club?
A. “Spanish Club is a club for students to meet and learn about and celebrate Spanish traditions”
Q. What activities do you do during Spanish Club?
A. “We plan on celebrating Mexican Independence Day, talk about Spanish traditions, play Spanish games, and eat Spanish food.”
Q. Why did you create Spanish Club?
A. “Students wanted to practice Spanish outside of class and learn more about Spanish culture.”
Q. Why should students join Spanish Club?
A. “It’s a great opportunity to learn about other countries and their culture.”
