Five band members named to All-State ensembles

More than 1,300 students from around the state of Missouri participated in this year’s All-State Band/Jazz Band auditions in Columbia, Missouri. Of those students, competing for spots in the All-State ensembles, five students from Pattonville were named with the honor. Here are this year’s results:

Nathan Rauscher, Jazz Vibes (All-State Jazz Band Member)
Nathan Rauscher, Jazz Drum Set (Alternate, All-State Jazz Band)
Ben Moser, Jazz Bass (All-State Jazz Band)
Grant Cushman, Trumpet (Honorable Mention, All-State Jazz Band)
Donnie Dwyer, Tenor Saxophone (Honorable Mention, All-State Jazz Band)
Keturah Gadson, Clarinet (Honorable Mention, All-State Band)

These musicians, and the rest of the high school band members, will perform on Wednesday night in the Holiday Concert. The show begins at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
