Two students on the Pirate Press staff attended theĀ free critique night with area journalism pros to receive pointers and feedback on their writing, design, web site, video and photography work.

On Tuesday, October 23, from 6-8 p.m., Allison Leventhal and Bionca Maldonado got the opportunity to attend three sessions with the professionals. They learned skills to improve the website, design and video of the journalism program at Pattonville High School.

The critiques were held at Lindenwood University.
