5 Questions with…Ben Floyd from the Pattonville Bowling Team

Ben Floyd is on the Pattonville bowling team and recently bowled a personal best score of 205.

1. What do you enjoy most about bowling?

“I feel as if bowling is something I can be competitive about and I like throwing the hook of the bowling ball and getting spares and accomplishing my average or better. It just gives me the satisfaction that I can be at the top of something.”

2. What is your current average?

“148.”

3. What are your goals for the end of this season?

“I think I have already accomplished my goals this season of improving my average of 20 pins or more.”

4. What are your long-term goals for bowling?

“My long term goals for bowling past this season would be to bowl a 300 game and to bowl in college and hopefully accomplish my dream of becoming a pro. It’s not likely, but not impossible.”

5. Why did you choose to be on the bowling team?

“Well, I just heard about it. I don’t even think I enjoyed bowling at the time but thought I would give it a shot to see how I like it. I remember finding out that you did not have to be really good to be on the bowling team so that is when I decided to go for it.”
