5 Questions with Laura Tisone

Laura Tisone is a sophomore at Pattonville High School. She was involved in marching band during first semester. Her passion for music lives on in second semester by playing in the pit for the musical, Guys & Dolls, that was performed earlier this month. Tessa Stahlhut met up with her to have an interview about her love with music.

What instrument do you play?

I play the baritone saxophone.

How long have you been playing the baritone saxophone?

Since sixth grade.

What’s your favorite thing about being in pit?

My favorite thing about pit is definitely the people. I love that we can all have each others’ backs and just be ourselves and have so much fun together.

Why did you want to be in or join pit?

I thought that it would be a really cool opportunity and I wanted to broaden my horizon socially and musically.

Why do you like to be in band/pit/etc…?

Music has always been a passion of mine, and being able to not only listen to music, but have the opportunities that are given at Pattonville to play the music that I love, it makes it all the more worth while.
