Megan Peterson is an 11th grade varsity soccer player at Pattonville. She plays forward and helped the team with last year’s success. By the end of the season, the girls’ varsity soccer team had a record of 21-6-1. Even more impressive, they ranked fifth in state. But that is not enough for Peterson.
Peterson isn’t playing any other sport at Pattonville, keeping her focus on soccer. Her hopes are to get a scholarship and continue playing in college.
To stay fit in the off–season, she plays on a select soccer team and attends boot camp to work out her core and agility.
“I try to keep in touch with all of my teammates,” Peterson said, but her top priority is to stay focused on school.
She also enjoys playing songs on her guitar and is a dedicated gamer.
As for next season, Peterson is very excited about playing again with the Pirates and simply states, “We ARE going to win state this year.”
