Wrestling banquet is Monday, March 5 at 5 pm in room G206.

 

Attention students:  You are reminded to present your ID when going through the lunch line.  By having your ID out and ready at check out expedites the traffic flow so everyone can relax while eating.  Be respectful…be responsible…show your ID.

 

Pirate Code winners for the month of March will receive Taste of Pattonville tickets!  There will be one winner each day March 1st through March 28.

 

Dodgeball shirts can be picked up after school in Mr. Lammers’ office.  Dodgeball is this Friday at 6:30 pm.  Admission is $2 or three canned or boxed food items.  

 

Juniors interested in playing a sport in college should attend this week’s “Boot Camp” session on “NCAA/NAIA & College Athletics”.  The session will be in B104 Thursday at 1:15 pm right after school.  There is still plenty of room to attend this session.

 

PROM FASHION SHOW participants and junior class officers must attend a brief meeting with Ms. Lopez  today after school in room D212.

 

The half marathon meeting today has been cancelled.

 

International Club will meet today after school to practice.
NEW COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
Forest Releaf is an organization dedicated to planting trees and enriching communities.  They need volunteers to help plant trees and shrubs on Saturdays.  Workdays will take place March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, April 7 and 14 from 8 am – 12 pm.  If you plan on volunteering, you need to call 314-533-5323 or stop by the Community Service Office for more information.

 

All AP students planning on taking an AP Exam in May need to register at www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/262575  This link can be found on the high school website.

 

Attention fellow P-ville classmates:  Coming this March is The Artist In You.  This is an open mic night where the students and staff will perform.  Whether it’s dancing, singing, poetry and/or rapping, it’s the Artist In You that we want to see.  For more information, please contact Mrs. Brown to sign up and receive your tickets.  Tickets are available beginning March 1.  It’s FREE!  Yeah, that’s right…FREE!  We hope to see you there on March 13 at 6:30 in room A213.

 

Interested in being a part of Student Council?  Pick up a packet in the Activities Office or Stuco Store today.  All completed packets are due in the Acitivities Office on March 5th.  Officer elections will be held on Wednesday, March 14, and the representative elections will take place on Friday, March 16.  Get involved and become a part of STUCO!  

 

All students staying after for supervised activities and tutoring today must report to the Main Gym and sit in the bleachers by 1:25 PM.  Students should make all locker and restroom stops before entering the gym.  Students will not be dismissed from the gym until the bell rings.  Students found elsewhere in the building or on campus will be referred to their principal for appropriate disciplinary consequences.

 

Due to Parent Teacher Conferences on March 7 and 8, activity buses will run only at 4:15 pm.

 

Remember the Pirate Code…Be Respectful.  Be Responsible.  Be Involved.

 

Hey Pirates!  If you like McDonalds and if you want to support a good cause, please come to next Tuesday’s McTeachers Night at the McDonalds on Dorsett Road.  The plan is to “Green Out” McDonald’s  on Tuesday, March 6 from 4-8:00 pm with Pattonville students, parents, family and community members decked out in Pirate gear!  McDonalds will donate a percentage of sales for that 4-hour stretch to the Class of 2012 Graduation All-Night Party!  No flyers are needed to participate.  Just put on your Pirate gear and bring your friends and family to McDonalds for dinner.  Again, that’s next Tuesday night.  See you there!

 

Graduating seniors interested in applying for a PTO SCHOLARSHIP may pick-up an application in the College Counseling Center. Please note the deadline for completed Scholarship applications, along with supporting documents, to be returned to Mrs. Kampschroeder is APRIL 1.

 

PTO GRANT APPLICATIONS are available in the Activities Office.  Applications must be completed and returned (with supporting documents) to the College Career Center April 30.

St. Louis Zoo offers many all year-round volunteer opportunities.  If interested sharing your love of animals and teaching kids about wildlife, nature and the zoo, stop by the Community Service Office for information.  You must be 15 years old.

 

St. Louis Audubon Society is sponsoring several volunteer events at Creve Coeur Park:
Saturday, March 3 from 9 am – 1 pm – Honeysuckle removal
Saturday, March 24 from 9 am – 1 pm…Watershed clean up is the 4th Annual Confluence Trash Bash
Saturday, April 14 from 9 am – 1 pm…Honeysuckle removal
