The MOCK TRIAL TEAM practice originally set for Sunday afternoon has been canceled and RESCHEDULED for MONDAY NIGHT at 6:00 pm, when we will host Marquette for a practice trial.

 

A+ INFORMATION
Reminder…A+ TUTOR TRAINING is next Thursday, Feb. 16.  If you signed up for the January 19 training, you have been included in the February 16 training session.  If you have any questions, contact the A+ Office.

 

Dodgeball sign ups and payment deadline is today.

 

Today is the absolute LAST day for carnation sales at lunch.  Be sure to purchase your carnations, which will be sold at all lunches and will be delivered on Valentine’s Day.  Each flower costs $1.00 and this year, you can add a heart sucker to your card for an additional dollar and the proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.

 

Remember the Pirate Code…Be Respectful.  Be Responsible.  Be Involved.

 

ATHLETIC, CHEERLEADING, AND DRILL TEAM PHYSICAL EXAMS
In accordance with Missouri State High School Activities Office guidelines, students must have a current physical on file prior to tryouts.~ Physical exams are scheduled at Pattonville High School on February 21 from 4-6 pm.~ You must call the Activities Office (314-213-8058) to RSVP.~ Cost is $25.00…make checks payable to Advanced Training and Rehab.~ If cleared by the physician, this physical is good through the 2012-13 school year for all athletes, cheerleading and drill team members.

 

PTO GRANT APPLICATIONS are available in the Activities Office.  Applications must be completed and returned (with supporting documents) to the College Career Center April 30.

 

EVENT RESULTS
Congratulations to Danielle Siegel, Warren Li, and Madison Farrar for placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the Optimist Oratorical Speech Contest last night, which included excellent speeches from all of the participants.  The top two will go on to compete for scholarship opportunities at the regional competition in March.

UMSL Volunteer Service is accepting Service Academy applications.  Stop by the Community Service Office if interested.

 

MARYLAND HEIGHTS 11TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL DAY on Sunday, February 26 from 12-5 pm needs volunteers to carry flags representing your country of origin.  Contact the Community Service Office immediately if interested.  

 

11TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL ARTS FESTIVAL “CELEBRATE THE WORLD”, Sunday, February 26 from 12-5 pm located at Maryland Heights Centre is in need of volunteers.  Stop by the CSO for more information.
