It’s finally here. Finals week that is.
Winter Break is almost here, and with the semester classes coming to an end comes the final exam. Most students at Pattonville have to study for final exams in all of their seven classes. Having seven finals can be pretty stressful for students. To make studying less stressful, some students have found ways to relax themselves more, instead of being overwhelmed with information.
Junior Hannah Saputo has found a way to incorporate snacking while she studies by using gummy bears.
“I’ll put them over my vocab words and then when I get them right I’ll eat them,” Saputo said.
Distractions like these can make it that much easier on students trying to do well during these last couple days of school.
Sophomore Jordan Colquitt also has ways to reduce final exam stress. Colquitt says she spreads out her studying throughout the week, so she isn’t cramming for the facts on the night before her big final.
Saputo and Colquitt have their ways of time management and strategies, but there are many other ways to ensure the grade you want. Try visiting the library after school for tutoring with teachers, or talk with your teachers to ask them which days they stay after school. The math hep center is also open for students to use.
