I went around the school and asked seniors if they are staying in or leaving St. Louis after high school and what their plans are for after graduation.
Joseph Schneider: Also leaving and attending Mizzou. I am going to be studying journalism and was enrolled in the journalism program at the school.
Elena Murawski: Leaving and attending Mizzou. I plan to study physical therapy because it was a good fit.
Kaely Fitterling: Leaving and attending Chicago University. I am going to be playing soccer there.
Blane Plaster: Attending UMT school because I don’t want to go through any more school and this path of education does not require student loans.
Ben Cowell: Departing and attending Missouri State because I want a degree.
Carolina Cid: Staying and attending Florissant Valley for general studies.
Jed Menard: Leaving and attending Colorado because my family is moving, my dad is stationed there, and it’s a really good engineering school.
Joseph Warren: Staying for my first 2 years in order to get the prerequisites out of the way.
Joe Johnson: Staying and attending St. Charles Community College because it is free through the A+ program.
Kaeli Ray: Staying and attending St. Charles Community College because it’s close and they have the classes I need to get into the nursing program at UMSL.
Jameelah Sidner: Staying and attending Florrisant Valley Community College for general education then transferring to the University of Fontbonne to study speech pathology. I also want to study interpreting for the deaf.
