Seventeen journalism students attended Missouri Interscholastic Press Association’s J-Day at the Missouri School of Journalism on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus. Current staff members of the Pirate Press and ECHO were joined by future leaders of Pattonville’s student-run publications.

Students attended an opening ceremonies, two break-out sessions and were able to tour the campus of Mizzou during lunch.

Five pieces of published work were recognized as being some of the best journalism produced by students in the state of Missouri.
