2018 Prom Court nominations were posted outside of Student Council Store

The list of 2018’s Prom Court nominees

Nominations for the 2018 Prom Court were posted outside of the Student Council Store this week. Girls that were on Homecoming court this year were ineligible to be nominated.

Junior nominee Sydney Beins is a court nominee and it is her first time being nominated for any court. Her older brother, senior Brock Beins, is a senior boy nominee and he also served on the court in 2017.

“I think it’s kind of interesting that we’re both on there,” she said. “We’re gonna have a great time this year on court together.”

Once students get back from Spring Break, court elections will be held from April 3-5 on the Hotspot on the Moodle.

Usually 6 senior couples and 4 junior couples are selected for the prom court.

In addition to the list of nominees marking preparations for prom, flyers with more information about the dance and ticket sales have been put up around the building.
