For the Class of 2019, it’s almost graduation time. Seniors are starting to think about their college lives or picking which trade school they’re planning to attend, but one senior is jumping into deep waters right away.

Senior and bowling phenom Joey Scherer is planning to open up his own jewelry line called “Ice by Scherer” which will be opening for online business in September 2019.

Scherer was a great student in school who always got above a 3.0 in all eight of his semesters at Pattonville over the past four years, and he could’ve went to college on a bowling scholarship, but chose to be an entrepreneur instead of hitting the books.

“So my company will basically be selling basic diamond earrings, gold chains, Cuban necklaces, and tennis chains,” he said.

If you’re reading this and you don’t know what the nickname “Ice” means in his company name, it refers to anything Scherer just mentioned in the quote above, it is any type of valuable jewelry.

Scherer’s mission statement is to actually make his jewelry more affordable than an average piece of jewelry that would cost a customer a fortune.

“I’m not looking to put things at too expensive of a price,” he said. “Our cheapest item will be around the $80 range and that will include our bracelets and our earrings while a gold chain could cost as much is $500.”

Scherer said that his jewelry will be 100 percent authentic as well – no fake jewels here, folks.

His main audience will be the teenagers that try to get affordable accessories to look more stylish whether it be at school or at a special event.

More information about the launch of the site will be announced on Scherer’s social media handles such as Snapchat and Instagram.
