UPDATE: From the Pattonville School District website Jan. 8:

“School is canceled today, Thursday Jan. 9. Concerns about weather conditions, and the fact that we have routes in our district with cars parked on both sides of the street making it impossible to get buses through, make conditions unsafe for transporting our students.”

From the Pattonville School District website Jan. 7:

“School canceled for Wednesday, Jan. 8.

All schools in the Pattonville School District will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 8, due safety concerns regarding bus stops and side roads in some neighborhoods in the district.”

From the Pattonville School District website Jan. 6:

“Classes are canceled for all students for the next two days, Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 6 and 7, due to concerns about bus stop safety, road conditions and dangerous wind chills. The entire district is closed Monday, except for maintenance and custodial crews who will work to prepare parking lots and buildings to open. On Tuesday, all staff, except for bus drivers and food service personnel, should report for a work day. Staff should refer to their work email for more details. Classes will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 8, barring any unforeseen emergencies. Thank you and please be safe during this winter storm.”

According to Associate Principal Tiffany Besse, due to the snow day, this week will be AAA since students return on Wednesday and it’s the start of a new semester.

In an email to the staff, Besse said, “Students should pick up a new copy of their second semester schedules in the Commons before reporting to 1st hour.”
