Staying in? What to watch over homecoming weekend

With homecoming approaching this weekend, whether you’re going or not, it leaves people looking for things to do. Maybe you want to take your date out to help break the ice, or just hang out with some friends – a great thing to do is to see a movie. However, deciding on what movie you want to go see can be a problem. Here are a few movie suggestions to help keep you entertained this weekend:

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (PG): Percy Jackson and his friends search for the mythical Golden Fleece hidden in the Bermuda Triangle in order to save an ailing magical tree that protects their home from foes.

The Conjuring (R): Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren try to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.

Elysium (R): In the year 2154, the very wealthy live on a man-made space station called Elysium while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth. The only man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max, an ordinary guy in desperate need to get to Elysium. With his life hanging in the balance, he reluctantly takes on a dangerous mission that could save his life and the lives of millions on Earth.
