Student Council uses survey asking for feedback about dance DJ

screen-shot-2016-10-14-at-1-04-45-pmThe 2016 Homecoming Dance took place on Sept. 24, and the music at the dance has had many people talking. I wrote an article for our most recent issue of the newspaper in which I talked about how the DJ at this year’s dance was, although an improvement, still not the best option.

The Student Council now wants to hear your opinion and has put a survey online for students to voice their opinion on the DJ. The survey asks a few quick questions about the overall opinion and whether or not he should be brought back.

“As of now, we have only had a few students take our survey,” STUCO sponsor Ms. Jacqueline Saxton said. “This is a good opportunity for the student body to voice their opinion for upcoming dances.”

As of now, mostly seniors have taken the survey, so it is important for the other classes that will return next year to answer the questions.

“I was not a big fan of the music this year,” junior Jasmine Carter said. “I hope that in the future they can play more music that I like to dance to.”
