Attention 2013 yearbook candidates:  Remember that interviews will be held after school today in B108. In case of bad weather, listen to the afternoon announcements for changes.

 

There will be no after school tutoring on Thursday.  Both the Library and the Math Help Center will be closed to students.

 

Do you want to donate blood? Sign up for the blood drive at lunches this week in the commons.

 

Attention Seniors:  If you bought a senior long-sleeved shirt, you may pick it up in Mr. Lammers’s office this week.

 

There will be a Girls Night Out meeting after school on Thursday, February 16 at 2:30 pm in room B104. The first 15 girls to show up will receive a free Girls Night Out T-Shirt. Bring a snack and a friend.

 

CAN you open your heart?  Please help the Pirate Code feed members of the Pattonville community. The Pirate Code will sponsor a food drive February 14th-28th. Canned and non-perishable foods can be dropped off each morning starting February 14 in the commons from 6:45-7:10 am. As foods items are dropped off, a notation will be made as to which Pirate Connections class the student or staff is a part of. The Pirate Connections class with the most donations at the end of our drive will receive a donut party.  
Please consider giving at least two canned or non-perishable food items!

ATHLETIC, CHEERLEADING, AND DRILL TEAM PHYSICAL EXAMS In accordance with Missouri State High School Activities Office guidelines, students must have a current physical on file prior to tryouts.~ Physical exams are scheduled at Pattonville High School on February 21 from 4-6 pm.~ You must call the Activities Office (314-213-8058) to RSVP.~ Cost is $25.00…make checks payable to Advanced Training and Rehab.~ If cleared by the physician, this physical is good through the 2012-13 school year for all athletes, cheerleading and drill team members.

 

PTO GRANT APPLICATIONS are available in the Activities Office.  Applications must be completed and returned (with supporting documents) to the College Career Center April 30.

 

EVENT RESULTS
Congratulations to the following wrestlers for qualifying for state wrestling and placing at districts:  Eric Thomas-4th; Tommy O’Brien-3rd; and Matt Murphy-2nd. Great job and good luck at state!

 

Congratulations to the Varsity Hockey Cheerleaders for placing 1st in Chant and 2nd in Cheer at the Mid-States Hockey Cheerleading competition held at Fort Zumwalt East High School yesterday.

UMSL Volunteer Service is accepting Service Academy applications.  Stop by the Community Service Office if interested.

 

MARYLAND HEIGHTS 11TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL DAY on Sunday, February 26 from 12-5 pm needs volunteers to carry flags representing your country of origin.  Contact the Community Service Office immediately if interested.  

 

11TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL ARTS FESTIVAL “CELEBRATE THE WORLD”, Sunday, February 26 from 12-5 pm located at Maryland Heights Centre is in need of volunteers.  Stop by the CSO for more information.
