Like musicals? Do you and your significant other want something romantic to do this Valentine’s Day? Or are you looking for something that’s just plain fun? Come to Pattonville High School’s musical, The Sound of Music.
A story about a Navy captain, his six mischievous children and a young woman who is attempting to become a nun but ends up taking a job as governess for the Navy captain’s six children run from Feb. 13-16 in the high school auditorium.
“It’s a fun experience not just for the actors, but for the audience too,” actor Jacob Painter said. “The audience gets to see us have fun acting like different people.”
Actor Marshall Leek said putting a musical together can be very stressful, but all the hard work they’ve done has paid off, and that the musical is sure to be a great experience for everyone.
Showtimes are Feb. 13-15 at 7 p.m. and on Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door and the box office will open 1 hour prior to each show. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for general admission.
