5 Questions with Ms. Debbie

Ever wonder what the people who work in the cafeteria are like? A lot of people have seen Ms. Debbie, but I asked her 5 questions so students can get to know her a little better.

-Do you like being able to communicate and see all the students during their lunch hours?

“Yes! The highlight of my day is being able to interact with all the students.”

-How long have you been at Pattonville High School?

“3 years next month.”

-Do you like your job?

“I love my job! I get to be with students every day.”

-Why do you like to tell people ‘Happy Monday’, ‘Happy Tuesday’, etc.?

“Because I used to work with abused and neglected kids.  Then one of my staff would always say that to me. I just feel like whenever you hear it, it puts you in a good mood and brings out whatever bad mood you’re in.”

-Why do you think a lot of students like you?

“I don’t know, maybe because I’m always happy and in a positive mood regardless of anything.”

“Is there anything you would like to add that I haven’t asked you yet?

“Just that this was so sweet! And I LOVE THE KIDS.”
