Anderson has been a presence at Pattonville for 27 years

Mrs. AndersonFor 27 years, Ms. Leslie Anderson has been a teacher at Pattonville High School. Even though working at PHS wasn’t her first choice with a degree in psychology, she feels that choosing Pattonville was the right choice for her.

She enjoys the extremely positive environment that has been built around her.

The school’s environment has changed since Anderson started working at Pattonville. There were less cameras, no IDs, little technology was present with only two computer labs at the school, and the school wasn’t as diverse.

Anderson has also gotten involved with the school’s activities. She started coaching the first girls’ golf team, and also coached soccer and volleyball at points in her teaching career, saying she “was able to create many unforgettable memories.”

The only regret she has in teaching is not being able to reach at many students as she wanted. To help more students make it in life, she wishes that she was even more involved in making sure they were prepared for the real world.

Today Anderson is considered one of most caring and supportive staff members working at Pattonville High School by the students she has in class or a part of the clubs and teams she sponsors.
