Students raise funds for families of Barrett, Fader

Students+raise+funds+for+families+of+Barrett%2C+Fader

During all lunches on March 4-7, the Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS) and Caring for Others (CFO) clubs came together to help out two Pattonville teachers, Mr. Pete Barrett and Mr. Scott Fader, by selling T-shirts. Each teacher has a family member battling cancer. T-shirts will continue to be sold during school next week.

The T-shirts are orange to show the fight against leukemia and lime green to show the fight against lymphoma, both cancers. The design of the shirt was drawn by Fader’s daughter, Delia Fader, who is being treated for her illness.

All proceeds of the T-shirt sales will be equally divided among the Barrett and Fader families.

Child sizes cost $8 and adult sizes are $10. If the size you want is not available, there are order forms you can pick up during lunch or go to Mrs. Twila Harris in E203 or Dr. Sylvia Hilker in H110 for more information.

There will be a group picture taken in the main gym on March 15 for anyone who purchased a T-shirt.
