The Finder, a new show on Fox, premiered Jan. 12. The main character, Walter Sherman, owns a run-down, isolated bar but is paid to use his special mental ability to find lost items, including people.
Sherman is a nonchalant, rebellious ex-veteran who suffers from brain damage from a explosion. This justifies his paranoia and constant need to find lost items.
And when he is asked by a distraught civilian to find something they misplaced or a loved one who has disappeared, he is determined and amusing in his search to return what ever was lost.
His attorney, Leo Knox, who is more of a counselor and bodyguard, tends the bar with Sherman.
When Sherman is about to break the law, Knox always makes him aware of the crime he will be committing and the years he could spend in jail for it. Sherman always takes his chances.
Willa Monday, a 16-year-old juvenile delinquent gypsy works doing chores around Sherman’s bar and assists in the investigations.
Deputy U.S. Marshal, Isabel Zambada tries to be a positive female influence on Willa and a virtuous friend to Walter while trying to not doing anything that would jeopardize her job throughout her time helping Sherman on his elaborate searches.
The Finder is a mysterious, entertaining, crime solving show with unique and distinct characters. It keeps viewers anticipating and ready for the next episode.
