AP Art History class visits St. Louis Basilica

Ms. Jessica Wynn’s AP Art History class visited the St. Louis Basilica for their second field trip of the 2017-2018 school year. Their first field trip was to the Science Center for the King Tut exhibit.

This class may be unfamiliar to many Pattonville students and parents because this is the first year AP Art History has been offered as a class.

She recommends the new class for Pattonville students interested in the subject.

“It has the largest chronology of any history class,” she said. “Lovers of art, history, and the humanities will further their knowledge of sculpture, architecture, painting, and sociology.”

Although she only teaches one section of the course consisting of six students, she looks forward to educating many students about this subject matter in the future.
