The team practices after school for their upcoming game against Fort Zumwalt North on September 11.

On Thursday, September 6, the varsity girls softball team played against Wentzville Liberty High School. Senior Jalisa Thomas is the head captain of the softball team.

“We’re really trying to make it work with our offenses with hitting the wall and making content,” Thomas said. “We expect to give it our all in our swings.”
Senior Ashely Santel, the vice captain of the softball team, is leading the team to do their best, all while learning more about each other and working together as a team.

“This is a pretty small new team for now we’re just trying to learn how to work together,” Santel said.

Santel plans on getting “a pretty decent amount” of hits. The newest player, senior Allison Pearia is ready to dive headfirst into every game.

“We’re gonna try our best, we’ll be sure to get a good amount of hits in,” Pearia said.
